Got the pressure sensitivity on my tablet to work. To celebrate, an old doodle of mine

This was literally the first thing I did when I got the tablet working on XP, three months ago. Reference is the Alien Xenomorphs.

It kinda sucks because I didn’t have any experience with the tablet, so I stuck to a small document size on Photoshop. The aliasing effect is just too evident.

Been doing some freelance stuff related to mobile devices. It is an interesting and innovative project related to mobile learning in corporative settings. But it kind of sucks when you can’t even test it properly As such (and also because I’m a sucker for technology) I’ve been looking for a cheap iPhone or iPod Touch (I know, the terms “iPhone” and “cheap” don’t go well together…)

Mind you, its not the sand & sea stuff that I’d like. I’d like to take a walk and everything, however, I’d like my beach close to the sea but not too close

I’d love to sit comfortably on a couch, falling asleep with a nice book in hand, while a breeze gently swept the windows (ok, that was kinda poetic, but actually I would lock the windows so they don’t make that damned screeching sound). The silence would be perfect for crashing on a sofa and catching up on your sleep, maybe reading a fine book while sipping a good wine, or just enjoying a good company.

Did this last night. Had to give myself a “prize” after dicking around too much on a freelance work I’m doing. (Any similarity to the salmon girl in the post below is mere coincidence.)

Good beverages, plenty of food and nice people all around.

I made some new friends and heard some amazing stories about deadly kitchen implements, harmful recipes and headless mutant cockroaches from hell.

All in all, a memorable event.

PS: Did you know that a cockroach can live up to 9 days with its head severed from its body? It’s true, a friend of mine heard on the intarnets

Commission for a friend. The meaning of this piece is actually twofold:

1. It is for a friend of mine who is gonna launch an innovative postal package tracking service. It does not involve turtles. Well, not directly.
2. It is also a homage to the Correios (the brazilian postal service), which most definitely does involve turtles, and is always trying to bring me my packages on time. Always trying.
